     We  need to  be cautious and wise in choosing how  we
respond  to  people  who  encourage  us to  respect  blind
faith   in   the possibility of powers which  we   do  not
understand  ---    to   grant to  us  the  fulfillment  of
wishes,   desires, hopes  and aspiration  which seem to us
to be  impossible  according   to our past  experience. We
also  need to  be  careful not to  be ruled  by  cynicism,
fear, doubt, and despair.

     Sometimes  people  who encourage us to  respect blind
faith,   are   laying  the foundations for them to be able
to  manipulate  us as participants in collusive  games  of
mutual self deception---in which they feel they  will have
more  power than we will have.     They ultimately want us
to trust them without  careful  consideration of what they
ask  us   to   believe---for  then  they will be  able  to
manipulate  us   more  easily.      We  need  to  lay  the
foundations   for   people   being free  and  inclined  to
participate  in  open   and  honest dialogue  about  their
own personal  experiences  which  run counter   to   their
own  and  other  people's conformal expectations.   If  we
cannot sort out and evaluate our  own and  other  people's
conformal  expectations,  within  the context  of open and
honest dialogue  about  our  own personal experiences---we
are   imprisoned  by  those   conformal expectations.   We
then  have  no  trustworthy  ground  in terms of  which to
recognize when we  are  being mislead  by  those who  call
upon   us  to  respect blind  faith ---   which   is   not
