Thus each graduate school in each accrediting university must take care to discourage revolutionary students from persisting towards advanced degrees within the collusive professions. Only those students most dedicated to the paradigm are allowed to survive the technical and emotional trials and tribulations. Those who have doubts about how comprehensive and totally reliable the paradigm is are discouraged from seeking the doctorate degree; and if necessary obstacles are put in their way. For the above reasons members of minority groups and females who constitute a majority group are discouraged from seeking entry into collusive professions. Disadvantaged minority students are more likely to include rebellious revolutionary types than are advantaged majority students. Females are particularly dangerous to professions which are collusively dedicated to exclusive objectivity; the quantitative sciences. The more totally and exclusively a science is dedicated to objectivity, the greater the threat that truly feminine students will be to the equanimity and emotional tranquility of the dominant majority male group within the profession. Such female students are less likely to be thoughtlessly committed to total objectivity than are emotionally immature males. It is safer to encourage emotionally immature males to enter such professions than it is to encourage emotionally mature females. The above realities are likely to undermine the effectiveness of even the most systematic programs planned by well intended scientists to overcome sexual and racial discrimination. The systematic planning designed to gain control over discriminative traditions and practices are bound to be designed in keeping with the ideals and values of the collusive paradigm which the anti-discrimination efforts are intended to reform. Efforts to transcend discrimination will be futile if they do not honestly seek to transcend the collusive aspects of the paradigm, ideals, and values which generated the discriminative practices.
