     True salvation is liberation from the threats of:

     Rejection          Excommunication         Shunning

     Disfellowship      Banishment              Neglect

     Imprisonment       Punishment              Violence

at the hands of well-intended but mis-led good people.

     Mis-led  good people often focus attention  upon  the
above kinds of threats to promote what they consider to be
the  proper kinds of conformity.  They are mis-led and act
as if the difference between good and evil resides in  the
standards used  in  making alienative judgments  regarding
who  should  be permitted in the fellowship  of  the  good
people---in  heaven;   and  who should be excluded  to  go
suffer the fellowship of evil people---in hell. Heaven and
hell are conceived to exist here on earth now, or to exist
somewhere   else  later;   perhaps  beyond   death   where
confirmations of teachings are conveniently impossible.

     The  Gospel  is the Good News that true salvation  is
liberation from the above threats of mis-led  good  people
who often focus attention upon  the above kinds of threats
to promote what  they  consider to be the  proper kinds of
conformity.   Such mis-led good people do not welcome  the
Good  News,   and often crucify those who preach the  Good
News  and act as if it were true.  The mis-led good people
want to maintain control,  and resent the Good News  which
