     Technocrats   are   people   who  are   addicted   to
teachniques.

     In their educational processes of learning how to  be
technically  competent   students  become  teachnocrats by
internalizing the ideals  of  manipulation  and seeking to
fulfill  such ideals in  manipulating  people  to  control
people as  they  control  objects.

     In  highly  respected  graduate schools  which  focus
exclusively  upon   analysis   and  manipulation, diligent
students  deeply internalize in exclusive ways the  ideals
and values of analysis and manipulation;  to the exclusion
of  ideals and values which affirm the worth of  people as
beings   engaged  in  open  and  honest   intimate   human
relationships which entail  security  as the freedom to be
vulnerable in such relationships.

     When  technocrats manipulate people in their  efforts
to   control   people  they  often  use  the   tools   of:
dishonestly,     deception,    character    assassination,
innuendo, destruction of self esteem,  ridicule,  personal
neglect,    and   other  devices  to  get  creative   non-
conformists to stay in line.

     Technocratic behavior on the part of narrowly trained
impersonal  experts  engenders  in  the  people whom  they
manipulate---the very lack of self esteem which makes  the
victims  of  manipulation   to become  vulnerable  to  the
disease  of  addiction/codependence in which attention  is
focused   very   narrowly   upon   fixes   (techniques   &
technologies)   which  manipulative  people offer to  make
things to appear to be o.k. even as people are turned into
things that are impersonal and manipulable;    and fixated
