     When   acceptance   into   dialogue  is   conditional
upon comparisons  among competitors,  only the best  among
the  competitors are likely to be accepted into  dialogue.
It is not  enough to be good;   one must be among the  few
best   to  avoid   personal   rejection,    and  so  avoid
exclusion  from exclusive clubs and exclusive  communities
which pretend to have unity.

     Exclusive  people behave  according to the assumption
that  salvation  must  be  achieved  in   a   competition;
with  acceptance   into  their elite group as the sign  of
having won the contest.  The losers are sinners who do not
get any share  of the limited resource called love,    for
