To  participants in collusions there are many truths which
are  too  incredible  to  believe.   In  their   confusion
colluders  confuse truth with falsehood,  and regard  real
truths  as too incredible (not credible)  to merit belief.
To  them  some  real  things which  happen  appear  to  be
miracles,   because  they  appear to violate the  laws  of
natural processes.

To  participants in collusions the truth that some  things
can happen in open and honest personal relationships,  are
truths  which are too much of a threat to the coherence of
their  collusion  to be credible.  The collusion  must  be
maintained  at all costs,  including at the cost of  total
