     Discovery  has to do with the removal  of  figurative
covers  which have hidden something from sight;  it is  to
dis-cover

     Recovery from addictions, codependence and collusions
has  to  do with the discovery of truths which  have  been
hidden  from sight by the games of mutual  self  deception
which   are   played  by  collusive  addicts   and   their
codependents. Recovery has to do with removal of covers in
dis-cover.   Recovery from mental dis-ease has to do  with
becoming  at-ease  and  enjoying  the  serenity  of  being
comfortable  with reflexive truths about oneself and those
who are near and dear to oneself.

     Humble people are worthy of respect because they  are
comfortable  with  truths  about  their  own  powers   and
limitations.   Humble  people  are  not  participants   in
collusive  games of mutual self deception about their  own
lack of power to be in control;  they do not conceal  such
truths with the covers of pretense and arrogance.

     Addicts  lack  humility.   They try to pretend to  be
that  which they in reality are not.  They cover truths to
hide   from   reflexive  truths  which   embarrass   their
pretensions.   The  process of keeping such  truths  under
cover is a constant process which demands much concern and
attention;   they cannot be serene under the pressures  of
constantly being on guard against discovery.  Because they
cannot  bear the thought of discovery they cannot  recover
from  their dis-ease through dis-cover.  They need help in
thinking  comfortably  about the discovery of  the  truths
which  they are trying to keep covered.  They will not  be
serene,  comfortable, healthy and integrative people until
