     Collusive addicts play games of mutual self deception
and  call  upon  their supportive codependents to  do  the
same.

     According  to  the  rules of  such  collusive  games,
authentic  expressions  of personal  opinions  are  rarely
appropriate.   What is appropriate to express support  for
the  conventional  opinions  and is perceptions  which are
supportive of the games of mutual self deception.

     The  repressions required by the collusive  games  of
mutual   self  deception  extend  to  the  repression   of
awareness   of  many  personal  experiences  which   would
undermine  the  games  of mutual  self  deception  if  the
experiences  were  to become the focus of  any  meaningful
conscious attention or  dialogue.    Not only are counter-
collusion  opinions  taboo.   Taboos  extend  to  personal
experiences which  would  threaten  the credibility of the
misleading affirmations of  the collusive  games of mutual
self  deception,  and  to all thoughts pertaining to  such
experiences.

     People  who  are  complete victims of  the  games  of
mutual self deception  as played  by collusive addicts and
codependents are people  who  are  so imprisoned that they
can  not own their own  experiences  and  thoughts.    The
victims are the players of the games  and the referees who
oversee  the games  to  be sure that the rules of the game
are not violated.   It is against the rules of the game to
see the game,   to describe the game,  to drop out of  the
game,  or be in dialogue with self or others about  truths
which  cannot  be  ingested into the games of mutual  self
deception.

     Some truths can be ingested into games of mutual self
deception,  and be used  in the service of the dishonesty.
Such  truths  are put to uses which  make  the  misleading
affirmations  of  the  game  to  appear plausible.    Only
selective truths can be put to  such use,  for some truths
are inherently too threatening to the games of mutual self
deception to risk ingesting them into  the  games  for the
purpose  of helping to conceal  the  inherently  dishonest
