%COLLUSION TRANSCENDENCE ACCEPTED BEHAVIOR AFFIRMED 880810

     A collusive community cannot  transcend its collusion
by  merely saying that previously taboo behavior is to  be
regarded  as acceptable behavior for theoretical  reasons.
Such  talk  by itself is not enough,  even though it is  a
significant  first step.  The essential step is the actual
act  of communal acceptance of and affirmation of  persons
found to have behaved in ways previously regarded as taboo
under the terms of the collusion. Such communal acceptance
and affirmation must involve general communal knowledge of
the   persons   behavior,   and  also   general   communal
affirmation of the acceptance of the persons known to have
violated  those  rules which previously had to be  honored
and obeyed in order to be acceptable people.

     A  collusion has not been fully transcended until the
vast  majority of the significant leaders of the community
have     openly     and    honestly    participated     in
rituals/ceremonies which involve the violation of all  the
taboos   of  the  collusion.   This  will  include  public
affirmations of affirmations of people whose behavior  has
been in violation of the taboos of the collusion. Not only
first  order  violations must be accepted,  but also  n-th
order  violations  in  the form of  affirmations  of  non-
collusive  people and their non-collusive  behaviors  such
as:   (1)   revealing/describing  the  disintegrative  the
disintegrative consequences of enforcing the rules of  the
collusion,   (3)  refusing to reject non-collusive people,
(4)   affectively affirming and encouraging  non-collusive
