This web page By Words will eventually offer you the opportunity to selectively call to screen many of essays available within the ESSAYS System. You will be able to select essays in terms of one or more words contained in the full essay texts.

(These features will emerge beginning in March of 2005 and through the spring of 2005. There is much work to fulfill this vision. Please be patient and check back periodically!)

When the system is fully functional you will be able to click on any of many frequently displayed KEYWORDS, illustrated below on single lines. You will be able call to screen essays which frequently contain the word you click on, along with the other words to the left of the word you click on.

You will be able then to examine in turn essays which contained the word(s) you selected, presented in order of how-many keywords were found within each-essay.

At the top and the bottom of essay texts there will be links to the various ways for viewing essays: By Year/Month and By Words. Changing to another way will remove you from the string-of-essays you have been examining.

When viewing an essay you will be able to click backward and forward via: Previous-essay and Following-essay much like turning the pages of a giant book of over 6,500 essays.
