Such wisdom has to do with Ultimate-Concerns and Ultimate-Questions/Dilemmas. It is natural for humans to fall into the Tragic-Trap of trying to use Ultimate-Means --- to Prevent-Others from Making-Ultimate-Mistakes. The spectrum of Kinds-of-Means that can be brought into play include Teaching-By: 1. Example/demonstration/role-modeling. 2. Giving lectures/admonitions; do/don't. 3. Helping others understand immutable causes/effects. 4. Telling stories of epic adventures. 5. Telling parables about which others can dialogue. 6. Singing descriptive songs, operas, narratives. 7. Doing disciplined research about causes/effects. 8. Imposing firm laws, admonitions, and taboos. 9. Punishing people who do terribly dangerous things. 10. Excommunicating/Banishing/Imprisoning/Isolating. The dilemma is that Domineering-People are prone to use means that are closer to the bottom-of-the-list; rather than means that are closer to the top-of-the-list, AND: Means that are closer to the bottom-of-the-list are terribly dangerous and lead into making ultimate-mistakes that entail the AUGMENTATION of Participating-in-VICES of: Alienation Estrangement Polarizations Arrogance Pretentiousness Self-Righteousness Hubris Invulnerability Greedy-Certitude Dictating Empire-Building Being-Dictators Demanding Commanding Concentrating-Wealth Requiring Prescribing Concentrating-Powers Unilateralism Exclusivity Desensitizations Prejudices Arbitrations Automatons-of-People The More-Extreme the Dangerous-Behaviors-Are --- the more likely it is that Domineering-People will try to use VICES to Augment-the-More-Extreme kinds of Dangerous-Behaviors! The More-Extreme the Dangerous-Behaviors-are --- the more likely it is that Domineering-People will try to CONCEAL their Alienative-Motivations-and-Desires - as they work to Be-in-Control to promote Their-own-Gain by promoting other people's LOSS of Wealth-and-Powers --- as both Wealth-and- Powers are Concentrated-in-Alienative-Ways. How then are such Ultimately-Alienative-Behaviors to be Mitigated without falling into the Ultimately-Tragic-Traps of Personal-and-Communal Destructions-and-Disintegrations? Personal-and-Communal Integrations-and-Integrities are Ultimately-Inter-Dependent; both are Ultimately-Essential to Each-Other. How can we most helpfully pass on to the next generations those truths which are most essential to both Personal-and-Communal Integrations-and-Integrities? ULTIMATELY: Accurate, Honest and Gracious DESCRIPTIONS --- are more important than are ULTIMATE: Demands, Commands, Prescriptions, Proscriptions, Laws, Scripts, Taboos, etc. which can readily be Used-And-Abused by Domineering-People intent upon Concentrating their Wealth and Powers in Ultimately-Corrupt ways; rather than Being-Together in the Many Mutually-Complementary-Ways-of-Shalom. This process of trying to Recognize-Acknowledge-Clarify which behaviors are Virtuous-and-Merit-Honor --- and which Concentrating-Behaviors are Vicious-and-Merit-No- Honor --- is a Futile-Process --- if The-Process does NOT- Ultimately-Lead to the AUGMENTATION-of-Virtuous-Behaviors- With-Honor & lead to the MITIGATION-of-Viscous-Behaviors- that Merit-No-Honor.
