There  are  many  forms of  competition  between  mutually
exclusive ideals,  values, plans, agendas, etc.    Some of
them are inherent in the nature of realities.    Others of
them are created by human choices.    It is important that
we  learn  how  to  recognized  the  different  forms   of
competition  and  how  most helpfully to  manage  them  in
cooperative/collaborative ways  which  are  gracious   and
creative.

 1.  Some  forms  of  COMPETITION  have  to  do  with  our
INHERENTLY-LIMITED-AMOUNTS  of pure/useful:  land,   soil,
water,   air,  minerals,  fossil-fuels,  sunlight,   time,
attention, etc.  ---  within God's Space-Ship-Earth.  That
which   is   dedicated/used   in   one   way   cannot   be
dedicated/used  in  a  mutually exclusive  way.   Garbage,
chaos,  entropy, pollution must  go somewhere and  so they
limit future possibilities.   That which is wasted/trashed
cannot  be  used as if it were pure/new/good WITHIN  God's
Space-Ship-Earth.    Much entropy which is generated  must
leave  God's Space-Ship-Earth for us to survive.   It must
leave   in  the  form  of  infra-red-radiation  to   avoid
excessive Global-Warming.   If we prevent that  essential-
departure,   we  will  all die  due  to:   Global-Warming,
Climate-Changes, Increasing-Storms, and rising-waters.

 2.  Some forms of COMPETITION have to do with OUR-CHOSEN-
PATTERNS of:  commitments,  promises,  intentions, hopes,
expectations,   alienations,   estrangements,    distrust,
enmity,   domination,  violence,  controls,   hierarchies,
bondings,   score-keeping,  etc.   By  making  contrasting
CHOICES we AUGMENT-or-MITIGATE such forms of  COMPETITION;
and  can in some instances  ELIMINATE some forms/instances
of COMPETITION.

 3.  Some  forms  of  COMPETITION are created  by  how  we
CHOOSE   to  Make/Identify/Label:    strangers, opponents,
simplistic-fools,  enemies,  evil-people,  devils,   evil-
spirits, and Patterns-of-Exclusivity  -- which lead toward
Alienations and Evil-Relationships-Among-US.

 4.  Some  forms of COMPETITION are created When-We-Affirm
Mutually-Exclusive --- rather than Mutually-Complementary:
Ideals,  Values, Principles, Desires, Hopes, Expectations,
Plans,  Habits,  Life-Styles,  etc.  --  which lead toward
Alienations and Evil-Relationships-Among-US.

 5.  Some  forms of COMPETITION are created when we  Fail-
to-Make-Commitments to: Mutuality,  Balance, Cooperation,
Honesty,   Colaboration,  Humility,   Sympathy,   Empathy,
Integrity, Authenticity, Truth, Community,  Communication,
Dialogue, Sanctuaries, Human-Rights, Kindness, Gentleness,
Hospitality,  Generosity,  Sharing,  Distributive-Justice,
etc.    ---   which  lead  toward  Alienations  and  Evil-
Relationships-Among-US.

 6.  Some  forms  of  COMPETITION  are  created  when   we
Tragically-Make-Affirmations of Simplistic: Greed,  Wants,
Invulnerability-as-Security,   Risk-Avoidance,   Commands,
Demands,  Purifications,  Exclusions, Hierarchies,  Caste-
Systems,  Excommunications, Imprisonments, etc.  ---  that
generate Alienation and Evil-Relationships-Among-US.

 7.  Some forms of COMPETITION undermine the possibilities
of:  Cooperation, Colaboration, Reconciliation,  Conflict-
Resolution, Healing, Health and Shalom's Many-Ways.

     Be-Together in the Many-Gracious ways of Shalom.
