Arrogance, 2. Self-Righteousness, 3. Excommunications, 4. Ignorance, 5. Prejudice, 6. Provincialism, 7. Caste-Systems, 8. Personal-Rank-Ordering-Systems, 9. Domination-Systems, 10. Fools and Simpletons fail to recognize that true Power-and-Wealth are to be found through honoring and augmenting: 1. Humility, 2. Mutual-Acceptance, 3. Reconciliations, 4. Mutual-Education, 5. Being-Well-Informed, 6. Global-Hospitality, 7. Distributive-Justice, 8. Generosity-and-Sharing, 9. Graciously-Helping-Vulnerable-People, 10. Long-Term-Conflict-Resolutions, 11. Graciously-Sharing of Wealth/Powers, 12. Together-Prudently-Trying-New-Ways, 13. Transcending Collusive-Games-of-MSD. 14. Excelling in Mutually-Balanced Risk-Management. We need to learn how to helpfully focus our own and other people's fears; rather than to augment and confuse fears as simpletons and fools do in their alienative ways. We need to fear the many alienative ways of fools and simpletons who presume to know who-is-good and who-is- evil through their eating much of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of Who-is-Good and Who-is-Evil in the midst of their Luxurious-Gardens where they have concentrated their Private-Powers-and-Wealth as fortresses against Alienations-and-Excommunications. True-Lovers often focus upon what they can do to help other people become liberated from: ignorance, prejudice, greed, covetousness, arrogance, power-concentrations, wealth-concentrations, rank-orderings, caste systems, etc. --- within sanctuaries-they-build-and-maintain For-All to Thrive-in-Creatively. Domineering-People often focus upon how much they can do to focus other people's attentions, energies, concerns and preoccupations upon: being-busy, acting-unilaterally, taking-charge, quick-responses, being-certain, overcoming- doubts, achieving-invulnerability, being-most-successful, fulfilling-detailed-plans, meeting-goals, concentration- power-and-wealth, etc. --- regardless of the costs in many forms of alienation-and-estrangement. Be Graciously-Together in the Many-Ways-of-Shalom. (c) 2007 by Paul A. Smith in "Search for Honesty and Integrity" (On Being Yourself Whole and Healthy) ==========================================================
