     Domineering-People  often  ask  others  to  make  new
committments  regarding  how they will spend  their  time,
money and talents --- which will mean that the others will
have to break existing committments;  break promises made.
Domineering-People   act  as  if  others   should   Break-
Existing-Committments  ---   in  order  to   satisfy   the
Domineering-People  ---   without any  much  consideration
being  given  to those people and/or causes  the  existing
committments have been made;  stealing from others to give
to the Domineering-People What-They-Desires!

    In  such  a  situation it may be helpful to  ask  what
might be the basis for some cooperative effort.   If there
is no basis  for any cooperative effort,  it is not likely
that the persons involved will be "Getting to Yes"  --- in
the terms of Fisher's book by that name.    He has another
book  that  is  called "Getting Past No"   which  is  also
relevant.
