     "Catastrophe-theory"  pertains to any of many natural
processes  in which a system-of-interacting-elements  move
through  various stages-of-unstable-equilibrium,   perhaps
on-the-edge    of   a   potentially   sudden-release    of
concentrated-energy.   The sudden-release may, or may-not,
involve any tragic-catastrophe  from  the-humane-point-of-
view.   The term "catastrophe"  does not point to anything
which  is  essentially-catastrophic-and/or-tragic  from  a
humane point  of view.   The term  "catastrophic"   points
to the sudden-release-of-concentrated-energy;   e.g.,   in
blasting  rocks-out-of-the-way  of building a smooth  road
through a mountain-pass.

     One  focus  in catastrophe-theory is the  mapping  in
mutli-dimensional-spaces  of the topologies of  potential-
energy-maps  which  make clear where  the  edges-of-cliffs
exist,   and where the smooth-terrain-alternatives to  the
steep-cliffs  are near-by.   Tragic events occur in  human
relationships  when the participants in  inhumane-contests
fail  to find smooth-terrain-alternatives to falling  over
steep-cliffs  in a catastrophic way which is tragic in  an
inhumane way.

     Inhumane catastrophes occur when small conflicts are
not  resolved  smoothly with due-consideration to  humane-
standard-principles of: due-process, distributive-justice,
prudent-balance,  mutual-respect,  Universal-Declarations-
of-Humane-Rights,   and the Essential-Foundations of Both-
Personal-and-Communal Integrations-and-Integrities.

     These considerations pertain to almost all conflicts
in:    Business-Relationships,    Political-Relationships,
Professional-Relationships,       Religious-Relationships,
Territorial-Relationships, Intimate-Relationships, Sexual-
Relationships, Cultural-Relationships, Military-Relations,
Industrial-Relationships,  Ethical-Relationships,   Moral-
Relationships,  etc.   In the absence of well-informed and
prudent-considerations    of   these   possibilities   for
catastrophic-releases-of-energy;   there are bound  to  be
Tragic-Catastrophes through unwise and  imprudent pressing
forward-toward-and-over   steep-cliffs   that   are    not
