    Effective  RESISTENCE  which  is NON-VIOLENT  depends
upon  many  RESISTORS  knowing  in  meaningful  ways  the
following true-facts about-their-situations:

    1.  That those "Powers-That-Be"  which are the  focus
of their RESISTENCE are ultimately-few, "fallen" and CAN-
BE-REDEEMED ---  because  they  are  powers that are NOT-
ESSENTIALLY-EVIL  and  do NOT  reside  ESSENTIALLY-WITHIN
isolated  and/or alienated individual:  persons,   ideas,
ideals,  images, places,  families, tribes,  communities,
organizations, cities, states, nations, or religions.

    2.  That those who-can-and-may-at-some-time-unite and
RESIST-NON-VIOLENTLY are ultimately-many,  "redeemed" and
can-have-great-power  through  participating   in   many-
processes-of-integration   and  intimately-knowing-first-
hand many enduring-&-mutually-complementary-integrities.

    3.  That   the   hidden-conflicts   between   THE-FEW
existing-but-fallen "Powers-That-Be"  and THE-MANY people
of good-will who  can-and-may-yet-RESIST ---  are in-fact
hidden-conflicts  that can be truly-resolved only to  the
extent that THE-MANY  are committed:  openly,  publically
and  gracefully  to  using  only  NON-VIOLENT-MEANS   and
TECHNOLOGIES --- in-creating a  well-informed-and-public-
view that THE-FEW have concentrated-excessive wealth-and-
power into the hands-of  THE-FEW ---  in WAYS which have-
been and continue-to-be: dishonest, secretive, collusive,
coercive, contentious, violent, disintegrative, diseased,
greedy,   narcisstic,  egocentric,   fearful,   paranoid,
vulnerable,    self-serving,   addictive,    codependent,
contageous,  corrupting, mis-leading,  disintegrative ---
and so are  WAYS  which are truly beyond any true public:
trust, respect and support.

    4.  That  EVIL  does  NOT-RESIDE   essentially-within
isolataed  and/or  alienated  individual-realities,   but
rather    that    EVIL    resides     ESSENTIALLY-WITHIN-
DYSFUNCTIONAL-RELATIONSHIPS that  are-in-need-of-healing,
reconciliation and integration.

    5.  That  the needed-healing and associated patterns-
of-reconciliation  cannot  be facilitated-or-promoted  by
any kind(s) of: violence, coercion, domination, external-
management,  external-administration,  dictator,  strong-
man,   superior-being,   perfect-being,   superior-power,
immortal-being,  purification-process, or any unilateral-
sacrifice.

    6.  That central to the healing,  reconciliation  and
healing  processes must be the willingness of  initiators
of   those  processes  to-make   personal-sacrifices   to
facilitate   and  promote  the  formation  of  sanctuary-
communities  within which it is possible for all-who-wish
to-participate to be together in open-and-honest-dialogue
which is characterized by: balance,  mutuality, civility,
cooperation,  colaboration,  hope, hospitality,  honesty,
tolerance,   inclusivity,   openness,   authenticity  and
related complementary-other-virtues which are universally
worthy of reverence, honor and support.

    7.  Contrary  to  the generally   accepted  teachings
of   the    long-standing    dominant-myth-of-redemptive-
violence ---  (along   with coercion,  domination,  etc.)
such alienative means  NEVER-SUCCEED  in  facilitating or
promoting  the kind-forms of integrations-and-integrities
which they are usually-believed-to-assure.    Such  mean-
means  NEVER-SUCCEED because they  depend upon means-and-
technocracies which are:  mean,  technical,   alienative,
disintegrative,  dishonest,     secretive,     collusive,
unilateral,   prescriptive,   proscriptive,   repressive,
dictatorial,  etc.

    8.  It  is hard for  most people to trust  RESISTANCE
which is NON-VIOLENT ---  until it is clear to them  that
RESISTANCE  which  IS-VIOLENT ALWAYS-FAILS to  facilitate
and  promote the  enduring existence of  the  KEY-VIRTUES
that  humans  need,   desire  and  want-to-enjoy;   e.g.,
kindness,    shalom,    reconciliation,     integrations,
integrities,     openness,     honesty,     authenticity,
cooperation,  colaboration,  liberation, mutuality,  etc.
Such  clarity  and  trust  must  be founded  on  a  clear
understanding  of  just  WHY  it  is  that  well  planned
VIOLENCE-RESISTANCE  fails far  more often than does well
planned NON-VILOENT-RESISTANCE.    External AUTHORITATIVE
statements are not likely to be  believed  in the absence
of clear  presentations of the evidence which Walter Wink
points  to in his book "The Powers That Be."   Also see a
series of videos "A FORCE MORE POWERFUL"  presenting some
of  the details of successful     NON-VIOLENT REVOLUTIONS
in  the USA Civil-Rights-Movement,  South Africa,  Chile,
Poland and India.   Other non-violent revolutions occured
in the Philippines,  the Baltic States,  Holand,  Norway,
Italy and Denmark.  Visual presentations of what can-not-
be imagined even  after it has happened ---  can make the
