Walter Wink in chapter two writes  about  "The Domination
System"   and  the "Myth of Redemptive Violence".   It is
clear   that  the  "Myth  of  Redemptive  Violence"    is
intimately related to:

      "The Myth of Redemptive Unilateral-Action",

      "The Myth of Redemptive Management",

      "The Myth of Redemptive Punishment",

      "The Myth of Redemptive Threats",

      "The Myth of Redemptive Isolation",

      "The Myth of Redemptive Controls",

      "The Myth of Redemptive Commandments" - - -

      "The Myth of Cartoons for Children on TV",

      "The Myth of Batman and Robin",

      "The Myth of Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote",

      In the endless re-enactments of these myths:

      1.  Nobody learns anything.

      2.  Causes and consequences are not related.

      3.  Participants do not communicate significantly.

      4.  There are no clearly integrative-virtues.

      5.  No vices are clearly identified/described.

      6.  There are no occasions of true healing.

      7.  No transcendent-integrative-reality exists.

      8.  There is no hope that violence will ever end.

      9.  There is no difference between good and evil.

     10.  There is no foundation or hope for integration.
