Because: 1. War is founded on threats, coercion, violence, attempts-to-control, addiction-to-arms, respect-for- technocracies, involvements in collusive games of mutual self deception, etc. 2. The above foundations promote pretense and/or entail the use of dishonesty. 3. Honesty about one's own limits/limitations, fumbles, mistakes, weaknesses, confusion, uncertainties, doubts --- makes one vulnerable to anyone who views you as an enemy; so why be honest --- when one is threatened with coercion, violence or unilateral controls? 4. Dishonesty and secrecy alienate us from information, understanding and people with whom we need to work cooperatively. 5. Thus, trusting in the utility of war, leads to personal and communal disintegration --- as enemies are preparing to use: threats, violence, controls, addictions, technocrats, collusions, deceptions, pretense, bluff, arrogance and/or self-righteousness --- as weapons in "war-games" which pave the road to war and to the disintegrations of people and communities who trust in the utility of coercion and war.
