Among them there will be those who say of a given statement that it is: 1. False, 2. Probably false, 3. Probably true, 4. Certainly true, 5. Absolutely true, 6. Interesting, 7. Uninteresting, 8. Irrelevant, 9. Useless, 10. Misleading, 11. Not helpful, 12. Meaningless, 13. Unclear, 14. Obscure, 15. Etc. Some people may believe that their response to some statement or affirmation should/must be the same response which other people will or should make; and feel threatened by the presence of people who do not respond as they themselves respond. Such people are often insecure, and find it very difficult to tolerate different responses to their most cherished statements and affirmations. They may demand that people agree with them to help them feel secure. They often find it difficult to be participants in open and honest dialogue with different people. Other people may acknowledge that for each person there may be a different response which is "right" for and to that person --- and not feel threatened by different people responding in different ways to some given statement or affirmation. Such people are often secure (in being true to themselves and others) and find it easy to tolerate different responses to even their most cherished statements and affirmations. They may find pleasure and meaning in being participants in dialogue with people who reason in different ways --- so as to gain wider perspectives on how people understand themselves, others and the universe as a whole.
