The evidence could well take the form of systemic patterns of horrific sacrificing of many "things" that are essential to personal/communal integrity/health --- without us all receiving in return compensatory benefits which endure. In the absence of us acknowledging the reality of "The Domination System" --- how are we to understand any systemic pattern of horrific sacrifices? Is there a better way of understanding them? If so, why should we consider it as a better way of understanding the whole pattern of horrific sacrifices? Might "The Domination System" demand that we accept an explanation which is NOT most in keeping with all of the available evidence? The hypothesis suggests that such a demand would be the natural "thing" to expect of "The Domination System". Under the circumstances which exist --- why should we reject the hypothesis? For what reason which transparently merits our honor, respect and support --- can we reject the hypothesis while maintaining our personal and communal forms of integrity? Shall we sacrifice our integrities in order to reject the hypothesis, and so be faithful to "The Domination System"? It would be dishonest to pretend that we are being scientific, objective, and totally without bias --- if we maintain that the hypothesis that "The Domination System" is real and continues to merit our further careful consideration. Maintaining the hypothesis does show disrespect for The Domination System's demands! Our honest maintenance of our own interests is a form of bias; a bias against the apparent "integrity" of "The Domination System" and its domineering supporters. It would be dishonest to maintain that it is not a form of bias! The question is whether our honest maintenance of our own forms of integrity is a form of bias which merits honest people's respect, honor and support --- because of our patterns of horrificly sacrificing so many things which are essential to our diverse personal and communal forms of integrity. Within the context of what patterns of human behaviors --- do we make horrific sacrifices of our personal and communal integrities? Within the context of: 1. Any abuse of weak/poor/vulnerable women and children. 2. Any abuse of any men who respect women and children. 3. Any destructions of sanctuaries for vulnerable people. 4. Any occasions of sexual abuse; abuse of power. 5. Any attempts to concentrate power within ourselves. 6. Any preoccupations with issues of control over power. 7. Any attempts to "get ahead" at other people's expense. 8. Any judgements that we are superior to other people. 9. Any demonstrations of arrogance & self-righteousness. 10. Any demonstrations of our addictions and collusions. 11. Any preparations for and engaging in wars among us. 12. Any threats to engage in wars among us. 13. Any attempts to coerce, control & dominate each other. 14. Any demonstrations of dishonesty and deception. 15. Any uses of secrecy to increase others' vulnerability. 16. Any domination and/or control of vulnerable ones. 17. Any demands for yes/no questions and/or answers. 18. Any misleading over-simplifications of complexity. 19. Any attempts to inhibit discernment and understanding. 20. Any augmentations of destructive wealth concentration. 21. Any destructions of the fruits of peoples' labors. 22. Any going to disintegrative extremes when fearful. 23. Any forms of terrorism by states and individuals. 24. Any attempts to control what cannot be controlled. 25. Any demands that we control what cannot be controlled. 26. Any punishments for not controlling what we cannot. If there is no domination system; why do the above systemic patterns of horrific and sacrifices continue? How else are we to make sense of why they continue, century after century in most parts of the world? (c) 2005 by Paul A.
