     If  God is good and is to be obeyed without question,                                                                     
because He knows: what is good for us,  what is absolutely                          
true, and that He has absolute power --- is there any room               
for:                                                                                                                           
                      1.  Compromise?                                                                                          
                                                                                                                               
                      2.  Ambiguity?                                                                                           
                                                                                                                               
                      3.  Doubt?                                                                                               
                                                                                                                               
                      4.  Diversity?                                                                                           
                                                                                                                               
                      5.  Non-conformity?            
                                                                                                                               
                      6.  Synthesis?                                                                                           
                                                                                                                               
     Is it not our duty, opportunity, privilege and desire          
---  to know what He commands,  and to do that --- without                                                                     
question, compromise, doubt or hesitation?                                                                                     
                                                                                                                               
     How then,  can there be room for  conflict-resolution                                              
as regards differing people's  understandings  of people's                                 
highest ideas,  ideals, values,  principles and scriptural                                         
passages?                                                                                                                      
                                                                                                                               
     History  has  made clear that different  people  have                                     
lived  in  terms of different  understandings  of  highest                                     
ideas, ideals, values, principles and  scriptural passages                                         
---  and so have engaged  in  conflicts  which  have  been                                              
devastatingly  and  endlessly:   contentious,    coercive,                
violent, fragmentive --- leading to tragic disintegrations           
of  personal  and communal integrity.   All this has  been                                                                
done in the name of God --- who is said to be Love in ways      
which   are   gracious,    forgiving   and    facilitating                                                                     
reconciliation and integrity!                                                                   
                                                                                                                               
     We will do well and be well when we recognize,  name,                                                                     
describe   and   talk  openly  and  publicly   about   the
