     For  some people truth is not truth unless  there  is                                                                    
some  authoritative  body which has a consensus about what                                                                     
is  true  in some authoritative/transcendent  way.    Such      
people are not comfortable with personal existential truth                                                                 
shared  in  open and honest dialogue ---   about  personal                                                                 
experiences   and  perceptions  which  lack   transcendent        
authority for those who have  not been direct participants                           
in the personal experiences.                                   
                                                                                                                               
     Some  people  are  preoccupied with  absolute  truths                                                                    
which transcend  all particular people,  places and times;                           
and often feel that only they and their  close friends are                                                                     
honored  to  know  such absolute truths.    (They may have                                                                     
doubts about even their closest friends on occasion.)                                                                          
                                                                                                                               
     When  people are preoccupied with absolute  truth ---                                                                    
they  are  preoccupied with absolute authority in terms of                                                                     
which to be absolutely certain about absolute truth.  They                                                                     
are unlikely to be willing to take many risks  --- because               
the stakes are so  high.   They fear  that  people who are                                                                    
ignorant,  prejudiced, confused, biased  and/o r defective                                                                     
--- are likely  to  contaminate the collection of absolute                                                                     
truths.  Fearful people seek  to control the processes  by              
which some people may discern new truths ---  which do not                                                                    
conform to old truths.    Such revelations would undermine            
their respected collusive games of mutual self-deception. 
                                                                                                                               
     In  order  to  protect respected collusive  games  of                                      
mutual self-deception it is essential to  discourage  open 
and honest dialogue about personal experiences which might                                   
expose the games.  There must be authoritative regulations                                                                     
of friendships, honesty, intimacy, dialogue, and sexuality
---   else  respected  collusive  games  of  mutual  self-                            
deception  are likely to be exposed, and be called  off on 
account  of  the  reign  of  open  and  honest  people  of                                                                  
integrity ---  who are prompted by Love to be true to self
