Ourself? 2. Our most intimate other? 3. Our most intimate friends? 4. Our more casual friends? 5. Our casual acquaintances? 6. Members of our church? 7. People at work? 8. People in discussion groups? 9. People with whom we are in conflict? 10. Manipulative/addictive people? 11. Our mortal enemies? 12. God? Is it reasonable that the answers to all of the above questions be the same answer in each instance? If not, where is it reasonable that the answers differ --- and for what reasons should they differ. If it is essential to our welfare and the welfare of others who are near, dear and/or controllers of us ---that we should keep certain essential pieces of information (about ourselves and/or others) secret and out of the hands of enemy forces --- what than are we to do when we are in the presence of people who are: 1. More skilled than we are in extracting in wily ways information from us than we know how to extract information from them? 2. Better able than we to read between the lines of what is actually said in words --- to figure out what is going through minds? 3. Better able than we to read eyes through intense eye contact? 4.
