     Dichotomous people often focus upon issues  of  right
and wrong,  good and evil,  acceptable and non-acceptable.
They ask questions which can be answered with yes or no or
some  other pair of mutually exclusive terms.    The  more
important    questions   of  life  are   different,    not
dichotomous.  The more important questions of life have to
do with spectrums of possibilities and  alternatives;  and
with choices made in terms of spectrums of priorities.

     1.  Do people have clear priorities and keep them  in
mind and make choices informed by their priorities?

     2.  Are people's  priorities coherent---do  they  fit
with each other in a reasonable way?

     3.  Are people's  choices  made  with  integrity  and
presented  openly  and  honestly  as  flowing  from  their
priorities?

     4.   Do people re-evaluate their priorities in  terms
of the fruits  of  their  choices as  they themselves have
experienced those fruits?

     5.  Is  there  a  clear  and   coherent   theoretical
structure  which shows how people's priorities are  inter-
related   with  each  other;   and  with  other   people's
priorities?

     Questions such as those above are far more likely  to
lead  to helpful responses, than are dichotomous questions
of right  or wrong,   good or evil.    The above questions
are  not offered in the expectation of yes or no  answers.
They   are   offered  as  suggestive  of  the   kinds   of
