The reflexive SIGNificance and meaning of our lives depend upon: 1. How we choose and shore, and what meanings we choose to asSIGN to, our most intimate and our most alienative experiences of ourselves and each other. 2. Which of our experiences we can and choose to share as most SIGNificant, and worthy of sharing, in open and honest dialogue. 3. What nature, essence and origin we regard each of our own experiences and their perceived SIGNificance as having. 4. What SIGNificance we asSIGN to and/or perceive our conflicts and their resolutions or continuations as having. 5. Which realities we choose to regard as primary/ultimate, and which other realities we chose to regard as derivative, subordinate, caused, secondary, ephemeral, unimportant, etc. 6. How we regard our own and each other's choices of and asSIGNments of meaning and SIGNificance; with: respect, honor, detachment, attachment, resentment, anger and/or rebellion. 7. How we regard our own and each other's differences; as SIGNs of: superiority, inferiority, complementarity, salvation and/or damnation. 8. How we regard and asSIGN SIGNificance and meaning to our own and each other's: presence, failures, tragedies, conformity, on-conformity, rebellion, knowledge, ignorance, confusion, mistakes, achievements, etc.. 9. In terms of which stories, myths, scriptures, paradigms (and/or selective parts of them) we choose to focus our attention and asSIGN/discover meaning and SIGNificance in life. 10. What SIGNs we trust, and what SIGNs we fear and distrust; in light of what they SIGNify and mean to us and/or others. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
