     In  what  way  may  we  with  personal  and  communal
integrity: discover, clarify, describe, and talk about the
essentially false realities  of  our lives and communities
which entail  collusions,   addictions, codependencies and
their similar kinds of realities? What can we trust?  Whom
can we trust? In what way of living life can we trust?

     It  is  futile to be totally distrustful;  i.e.,   to
trust in total cynicism.  It is more integrative to search
for  integrity  and honesty;  even if they  are  obscured,
hidden,  repressed,  and mis-represented much of the time.
It  is  more healthy to seek to be ourselves,   whole  and
healthy;  even if that entails much ambiguity, uncertainty
and confusion.

     Not  every person in every situation is dishonest and
essentially false; but many persons in many situations are
essentially dishonest  and  false.  The  challenge  is  to
recognize the differences between different situations and
persons.

     When   society  has  become  systemically  collusive,
addictive  and codependent---we are then at great risk  if
we are unwilling to take  the risk of  perceiving examples
of essentially false:

     DICHOTOMIES         SPLITS           QUESTIONS
     ASSUMPTIONS         ISSUES           CONFLICTS
     MOTIONS             LOYALTIES        AGREEMENTS
     CONSENSUSES         SUCCESSES        CONTROLS
     WINNING             REPRESSION       SUPPRESSION
     COMMITMENTS         RESPECTABILITY   CONFORMITY
     SALVATION           REDEMPTION       COMMUNITIES
     PERCEPTIONS         FELLOWSHIPS      EXPERIENCES
     ACCEPTANCES         CONCEPTS         RESPECT
     WAYS                AFFIRMATIONS     PROCESSES
     REVELATIONS         CONFESSIONS      LEADERSHIP
     RESOLUTIONS         LANGUAGE         PROCESSES

     Such  realities may on occasion be essentially  false
and  unworthy  of  respect  and  support---when  they  are
dominated by dishonesty,  deception,  mis-representations,
collusions,  addictions,  and codependent support thereof.
We  are  at  great  risk  if we pretend that this  is  not
possible;   and  so  are  profoundly  vulnerable  to  such
dishonesty, deceptions,  mis-representations,  collusions,
addictions and codependent support thereof. By taking note
of  their fruits we may gain insights into their  natures;
especially when patterns of fruit-bearing are  persistent.
We are fools if we treat a vine which bears sour grapes as
if  it were a tree which will bear sweet peaches some  day
