     It  is  disintegrative of people and communities  for
anybody  to  take advantage of people's needs when  people
are  vulnerable because of their needs.   Powerful  people
lack  integrity when they take advantage of the  needs  of
vulnerable people who have less power of some kind than do
the  powerful  people.   Such abuse does  not  even  merit
respect or support.

     Being open and honest about real personal needs makes
people vulnerable.  Addictive people are prone to seek out
such  vulnerability  as  something  which  gives  them  an
advantage over the needy person.  Needy people are  likely
to  understand that risk,  and so seek to hide their needs
from powerful people  who  might  take  advantage of their
vulnerability.   In  this  way there  develops  alienation
between  powerful  people  who might otherwise help  needy
people  to  find  ways to get their real needs met.   Such
alienation  is  prone  to  lead  to  additional  forms  of
personal  and  communal disintegration.  Thus  integrative
