     We  need   integrative   ways  to   deal   with   the
imperfections we encounter in ourselves as persons, in our
communities, and in our systems of ideals and values.   It
is  not helpful to pretend that such imperfections do  not
exist.   It is not helpful to object when they come to our
attention.    It is helpful to develop integrative ways to
approach  them,   and  to  respond  to  imperfections   in
integrative ways when we encounter them.  It is helpful to
have  developed  integrative  ways of  dealing  with  each
other, before  we  encounter  the  imperfections  which we
will   inevitably    encounter.      Blaming,     shaming,
guilting, excommunicating,  rejecting,  ridiculing and the
like   are not helpful responses---no matter how powerful,
