 %ARROGANT INCOMPLETE OBJECTIVE SCIENTISTS PARADIGM 890515

     People  who  embody an incomplete paradigm as  if  it
were   a  complete  formula  for  meaningful  living   are
tragically  mislead  by their paradigm,  and are bound  to
tragically mislead those who trust their embodiment.

     It  is important to recognize the limitations of each
and  every  paradigm.  Any paradigm which  does  not  make
provision  for  the recognition of its own limitations  is
inherently an incomplete paradigm which should be regarded
with  apprehension and suspicion.  Any  complete  paradigm
provides those who embody it with guidance for recognizing
those   predicaments  in  which  the  paradigm  offers  no
guidance, or inappropriate guidance.

     Insecure  people  often  regard  their  paradigms  as
offering  the  means  to achieve the security  which  they
lack.   They are tragically mislead if their paradigm does
not offer any means for recognizing the paradigm's  limits
as regards providing means to achieve security.   Insecure
people  are  likely  to  cooperate in  the  generation  of
collusive  games of mutual self deception as  regards  the
powers  bestowed upon them by their paradigm and by  their
cooperative  efforts.   In  the absence  of  the  gift  of
security    they   manipulate   themselves   into   having
perceptions   which  are  founded  upon  their   collusive
cooperations,    rather   than  upon  any  reality   which
transcends their limitations as finite creatures.

     After political, religious, scientific, technocratic,
legalistic,  and professional leaders have regarded  their
narrow  paradigm  as  a complete  formula  for  meaningful
