Disintegrative aspects of addictive and codependent behavior are invisible. To regain health the collusive community needs to recognize the need for the resurrection of repressed insights and the public articulation of them so that they may be the focus of communal conversations. To resurrect insights requires a reversal of the processes of repression. In repression of insights members of a collusive community are motivated to put out of mind those insights which threaten the dominant collusions of their community. In resurrection of insights members of a collusive community need to be motivated to charitably focus upon tentative insights which barely come to the level of consciousness, to play with them to try to find and articulate any repressed truths to which they might point. In such resurrection individuals may articulate tentative insights so that they can consider them and converse with others to see if they are genuinely integrative insights. The process of repression must be reversed, in order to reverse the process of disintegration of personal and communal integrity. Therein they may be reborn. In a collusive community efforts to achieve consensus tend to become coercive in ways which repress creative insights which threaten the collusion. Consensus building may be rationalized as being integrative, getting people to work together. Convergent thinking which is coercive is not integrative. The process of resurrecting repressed insights needs to reverse the process of coercive building of consensus, and instead encouraging divergent-honest creative thinking which will help the community transcend the violence of the collusion.
