     Personal and  communal  integrity  elude  those whose
metaphysical  assumptions  lack integrity.    When  people
believe  that the universe is fundamentally  at  war  with
itself  they cannot  find personal or communal  integrity.
To  believe  that the universe  is dominated by  a  battle
between  a  God of Evil and a God of Good,  is to  believe
that   at  a   fundamental  level   the   universe   lacks
integrity,    and  that   any   human  effort  to   create
integrity  is  opposed to the fundamental  nature  of  the
