Human society is built upon the human tendency to copy the behavior patterns of the significant others to whom one is bonded. Such bonding and role models may not lead to behavior which is coherent with informed rational considerations. Role models may be incarnations of behavior patterns which lack integrity; i.e., are not always coherent expressions of any coherent set of ultimate ideals, values, and conceptions of the natural laws which faithfully describe processes which are beyond human control---but are understandable, regular, predictable. Incoherent incarnations and the copying of personal rejection as a response to failures to conform--- ultimately lead to self rejection and the disintegration of personal integrity; and thus to the disintegration of communal integrity which depends upon personal integrity in reciprocal ways.
