     Scientists'   ideals  and  values lead  them  through
specialization to be biases against non-systematic,   non-
technical,   non-objective ways of approaching situations.
Through  biases  a technocratic  culture  shares a  common
negative  attitude toward  non-systematic,  non-technical,
non-objective,  etc.  ways of approaching situations;  and
tends not to have positive emotion laden words to point to
such  ways.   The technocratic words which point  to  such
ways  are emotion laden with negative connotations.   Thus
it  is  difficult  to consider such  ways  in  a  positive
emotional  context.    The  difficulty which the  language
helps  maintain is due to scientists'  biases  which  flow
from  scientists'   ideals  and values.   It is  a  tragic
